Biography

I am a Data Science undergraduate at UNC Chapel Hill with a passion for using data to address social inequities and improve community outcomes. My academic journey combines rigorous statistical training with practical applications in GIS, public health analytics, and community empowerment.

My interest in data science was sparked by my early experiences volunteering with refugee communities in Charlotte, where I witnessed firsthand how data-driven decisions could improve resource allocation and service delivery. This experience motivated me to pursue a degree that would equip me with the technical skills to make meaningful contributions to community development and public health initiatives.

At UNC Chapel Hill, I've had the opportunity to work on various projects that combine my technical skills with my commitment to social impact. From analyzing leasing trends in urban centers to developing multilingual support platforms for refugees, my work consistently focuses on using data to create more equitable and accessible communities. Currently, I'm applying these skills as a Data Analyst at the Ackland Art Museum, where I'm digitizing educational materials and creating searchable databases to make art history more accessible.

I'm particularly interested in the intersection of spatial analysis, public health, and community engagement. My goal is to continue developing innovative data solutions that empower communities and promote equitable access to resources and opportunities.
